Over 1.2M biometric passports issued in Ukraine this year

As many as 1,200,308 biometric foreign passports have been issued in Ukraine since the beginning of this year, the press service of the State Migration Service has reported on Facebook.
"In total, 897,888 ID cards and 1,200,308 foreign passports have been issued since the beginning of 2021," the report reads.
According to the report, more than 257,000 biometric foreign passports and more than 183,000 ID cards were issued in July alone.

Earlier reports said that the State Migration Service issued almost 237,000 biometric foreign passports and more than 145,000 ID cards in June this year.
