Kyiv reports 127 new coronavirus cases

Kyiv recorded 127 new coronavirus cases on August 16, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on his Facebook page, Ukrinform reports.
Among people who have fallen ill are 89 women aged 23-86 years, 34 men aged 32-86 years, two girls aged 5 months and 2 years, and two boys aged 16 and 17 years.
Since the start of the pandemic, the total number of confirmed cases has reached 221,402.

Two lethal cases from COVID-19 were confirmed on August 16 (5,263 lethal cases in total).
At the same time, 88 people have recovered over the course of the past day. In total, 214,177 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.
