The Ministry of Health has drafted a bill on the introduction of criminal responsibility for forged certificates on vaccination against particularly dangerous infectious diseases, according to Minister of Health Viktor Liashko.

“Due to electronic tools, we can detect any forged information about both PCR testing and vaccination. At the same time, we do not rule out the possibility of a certain human factor. Therefore, to prevent the human factor, the Ministry of Health has developed a bill that has been approved by most central executive bodies. This is a bill on criminal responsibility for forged certificates on vaccination against particularly dangerous infectious diseases," Liashko said at a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to the minister, the bill will be soon presented at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers and then submitted to the Verkhovna Rada.

As Ukrinform reported, since March 22, 2021, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has found 182 people trying to cross the border with forged or other people's certificates on vaccination.
