Ukraine reports 1,003 new coronavirus cases

Ukraine recorded 1,003 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours.
"On August 21, 2021, 1,003 new COVID-19 cases (including 45 children and 17 health workers) were recorded in Ukraine," the Health Ministry posted on its Facebook page.
According to the report, 25 coronavirus-related deaths, 701 hospitalizations, and 236 recoveries were registered in Ukraine on August 21.

Since the pandemic began, 2,274,561 people in Ukraine have contracted coronavirus, 2,200,999 have recovered, and 53,457 have died.
The highest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours was recorded in Kyiv city (153), Dnipropetrovsk region (131), Kharkiv region (77), Odesa region (76), and Zhytomyr region (52).
