Over 10M COVID-19 vaccine doses given in Ukraine

Nearly 150,000 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine on September 7, with over ten million doses administered in the country so far, the Ukrainian Health Ministry has reported on Facebook.

"As many as 149,618 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, on September 7, 2021. Some 47,221 people received their first dose, and 102,397 people were fully vaccinated," the report reads.

According to the ministry, 968 mobile vaccination teams, 2,986 vaccination sites, and 335 vaccination centers were operating across the country in the past day.

A total of 10,073,041 doses have been administered in Ukraine since it launched a COVID-19 vaccination campaign, with 5,666,017 people receiving their first dose and 4,407,024 people receiving both doses (two people received their first dose abroad).

Some 133,922 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine on September 6.
