Almost 3.5M people visited Ukraine in summer - State Border Guard Service

Almost 3.5 million people visited Ukraine in the summer season of 2021, the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service said in its video address dedicated to the World Tourism Day.
In particular, 70% of foreign guests were Europeans, 24% came from Asia, 2.8% of foreign guests arrived from North America and 1.7% from Africa, Ukrinform reports, referring to the state service.
At the same time, in the summer season of 2021, the most popular destinations for Ukrainians were Turkey and Egypt.
The World Tourism Day is a holiday marked annually on September 27 to promote tourism, highlight its contribution to the economy of the world community, the development of ties between the peoples of different countries.
