Over 7M Ukrainians get at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine

Over seven million Ukrainians have already received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, whereas over 5.5 million people have been fully vaccinated, the Ukrainian Health Ministry has reported on Facebook.

"As many as 126,003 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, on September 29, 2021. Some 73,816 people received their first dose, and 52,187 people were fully vaccinated," the report reads.

According to the ministry, 915 mobile vaccination teams, 3,029 vaccination sites, and 348 vaccination centers were operating across the country in the past day.

A total of 12,617,990 doses have been administered in Ukraine since it launched the COVID-19 vaccination campaign, with 7,000,535 people receiving their first dose and 5,617,457 people receiving both doses (two people received their first dose abroad).

Some 11,757 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Ukraine on September 29.
