Ukrinform
The Ukrainian Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories has developed a new strategy of integration of internally displaced persons (IDPs).

Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov announced this, Ukrinform reports, referring to the ministry’s press service.

"The draft document is at the final stage and will be soon submitted to the government. The draft strategy has been developed in close cooperation with all interested ministries and other government agencies that will be directly implementing the measures. I am confident that such an approach will ensure the synergy of public authorities on the way to addressing issues related to relocation,” Reznikov said.

According to him, the state should create conditions under which citizens will not need any special assistance and protection due to relocation and will be able to fully exercise their constitutional rights without any discrimination on the basis of internal relocation.

As reported, on August 5, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law exempting internally displaced persons from the consequences of defaulting on loans and borrowings.
