Since the entry into force of the new restrictions on passenger transportation, less than 0.5% of passengers were not allowed to travel by rail due to a lack of proper documents.

That’s according to Oleksandr Pertsovskyi, head of the passenger unit at JSC Ukrzaliznytsia, Ukrinform reports referring to the company's press service.

"Since October 21, more than 125,000 passengers have been transported by long-distance and Intercity+ trains, of whom only 340 have been denied boarding due to lack of vaccination certificates or negative test results. In general, the situation with transportation remains absolutely controlled. Passengers have received all information required and reacted with understanding to the new rules, in most cases strictly adhering to them,” the official said.
