Thales to open its office in Ukraine
As the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine informs, the company has offices and research centers in 56 countries. Currently, Thales is working towards opening its office in Ukraine and has already appointed Serhiy Romanets as the office director. The company representatives noted that they were interested in the Ukrainian market, seeing great potential for the development and application of their cyber security products.
During the meeting of Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov with the company representatives, the parties discussed the tools based on artificial intelligence, digital documents, and cyber security.
Thales presented cyber security solutions tailored to the needs of the country in the context of forecasting, detecting, and countering cyber threats in vulnerable and critical areas.
Fedorov, in turn, highlighted the digital achievements of Ukraine and spoke about the system of cyber defense and countering cyber threats.
“The ability to counter cyber attacks is critical to every country in today's digital world. This is an area that needs constant improvement and update of solutions. Therefore, Ukraine is interested in sharing experiences, joint exercises, and practical cooperation with other countries. We are ready to actively participate in the international projects," said the Deputy Prime Minister.
