Kyiv, 15 Ukrainian regions remain in “red” quarantine zone

As of November 3, the capital city of Kyiv and 15 Ukrainian regions are assigned to the “red” zone of quarantine restrictions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

That’s according to the data provided by the Ministry of Health, Ukrinform reports.

The toughest coronavirus-related curbs have been enforced in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Luhansk, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Rivne, Sumy, Kherson, Khmelnytsky, and Chernihiv regions, as well as in the city of Kyiv.

At the same time, Vinnytsia, Volyn, Poltava, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, and Chernivtsi regions remain in the “orange” zone.

Zakarpattia and Kirovohrad regions so far are in the “yellow” zone.

As reported earlier, on November 2, Ukraine’s health officials reported 23,393 new daily COVID-19 cases.

Since the onset of the pandemic, 2,979,086 people have contracted the novel coronavirus in Ukraine, of whom 2,466,674 recovered and 69,447 died.

A total of 14,586,038 PCR tests have been performed.
