Ukraine ranks 16th worldwide in daily COVID-19 related mortality

Ukraine sees 16th-highest number of daily COVID-19 сases and ranks sixth in the number of new fatalities.
This was reported by the Coronavirus_info Telegram channel, as seen by Ukrinform.
"According to the Worldometer statistical resource, as of December 16, Ukraine ranked 16th in the world and 12th in Europe in the number of new COVID-19 cases," the statement said.
By a number of new COVID-19 fatalities, Ukraine ranks sixth worldwide and fourth among European countries.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, as of December 9, Ukraine ranked world’s 15th in the number of new COVID-19 cases and fifth – in new fatalities.
