Four Ukrainian female tennis players finish year in WTA’s TOP 100

The Women's Tennis Association (WTA) presented its final rankings for 2021.
The list of the world’s top 100 female tennis players includes four Ukrainians – Elina Svitolina (15th), Marta Kostyuk (50th), Anzhelina Kalinina (52nd), and Dayana Yastremska (99th), Ukrinform reports.
Below the top 100 are Lesia Tsurenko (118th), Kateryna Baindl (144th), Daria Snigur (153rd), and Katarina Zavatska (186th).
Australia’s Ashleigh Barty tops the WTA rankings, while Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus and Spain’s Garbiñe Muguruza complete the top 3.
The WTA rankings are based on a 52-week, cumulative system. A player's ranking is determined by her results at a maximum of 16 tournaments for singles and 11 for doubles.
