Over 46,000 Ukrainians jabbed against COVID-19 on Dec 27

A total of 46,024 people in Ukraine were vaccinated against COVID-19 on Sunday, December 27, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine has said.

"As many as 46,024 people in Ukraine were vaccinated against COVID-19. Some 12,498 people received their first dose, 33,231 people received their second dose, 98 people received an additional dose, and 367 people were revaccinated," the statement said.

The ministry also added that since the launch of the vaccination program, 14,605,033 people received their first dose, 13,447,292 received both doses, 2,208 people got an additional dose, and 990 people were revaccinated. A total of 28,055,523 doses have been administered.

As was reported earlier, 2,248 new COVID-19 cases were detected in Ukraine on December 27.
