Over 36,000 Ukrainians vaccinated against COVID-19 over past day

Some 36,289 people in Ukraine have been vaccinated against COVID-19 over the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine has said on Facebook.

Some 8,511 people received their first dose, 27,421 people received their second dose, 96 people received an additional dose, and 261 people received a booster dose, the statement said.

The ministry also added that since the launch of the vaccination program, 14,721,820 people received their first dose, 13,762,162 received both doses, 4,159 people got an additional dose, and 5,713 people received a booster dose. A total of 28,493,854 doses have been administered.

As was reported earlier, 1,746 new COVID-19 cases were detected in Ukraine on January 3.
