Kyiv records 2,012 new COVID-19 cases, including 356 cases among children
“As many as 2,012 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in the capital over the past day. Four people have died. Overall, 8,464 lethal cases from the virus have been recorded since the start of the pandemic. A total number of confirmed cases has reached 358,744,” the mayor wrote.
Among people who have contracted COVID-19 in Kyiv over the course of the past day are 1,018 women aged 18-97 years, 638 men aged 18-88 years, 195 girls aged between 18 days and 17 years and 161 boys aged between 4 months and 17 years.
According to Klitschko, 77 patients with coronavirus, 102 patients with suspected COVID-19 and pneumonia were hospitalized on January 26.
At the same time, 652 people have recovered over the course of the past day. In total, 332,551 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.
As reported, Ukraine recorded 32,393 new COVID-19 cases on January 26.
