Thousands take to streets in Helsinki to support Ukraine
The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Association in Finland on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“This time we have united with the friendly demonstration #mothersforpeace. Our warm thanks to Reetta Rajala and Susanna Makaroff for the organization of the event, to the artists for the passionate performance, and to all who joined the protest,” the association wrote.
A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, starting a war. Russian troops are shelling and destroying the key infrastructure facilities, launching air strikes on residential areas in Ukrainian cities and villages.
