Ukraine receives rescue equipment from France
"The Ukrainian rescuers have received today 27 units of fire and rescue and special equipment, as well as emergency and rescue equipment, from the Government of France. The equipment will be used for taking urgent measures to clear rubbles of residential buildings, put out fires, rescue people and perform other tasks," the State Emergency Service of Ukraine posted on Telegram.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Ukraine Etienne de Poncins noted that the transfer of humanitarian aid was a manifestation of solidarity now spread throughout France.
"Vehicles and equipment were collected and handed over by all communities and fire brigades in France. We express our support for Ukraine in the struggle for its freedom," the Ambassador said.
