In Ukraine, 279 hospitals damaged, 19 completely destroyed amid Russian invasion - minister

Since Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the invaders have damaged 279 Ukrainian hospitals and completely destroyed 19.
This was announced on Facebook by Health Minister Viktor Liashko, Ukrinform reports.
"Since war-start, 279 hospitals were damaged and 19 – completely destroyed. Twenty medics were seriously injured, six were killed. But our doctors are not giving up, saving lines every day," he said.
According to the minister, Russia will be responsible for every hospital and ambulance fired on, for every doctor killed in Ukraine.
"The next step is a full-fledged restoration of every damaged or destroyed institution, every doctor's office," Liashko stressed.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, 11 ambulances and a batch of medicines were handed over from the western Ukrainian region of Bukovyna to the Ukrainian military.
