The relevant statement was made by the press service of the National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Russians are shelling TV towers, destroying offices, smashing equipment, abducting and killing Ukrainian media professionals. Our information fighters, risking their lives, are providing the Ukrainian broadcasting to the last within the occupied territories, going on the air under the most challenging conditions. We must collect the crimes committed by rashists for a tribunal against the Russian occupiers. The world should learn about each story of the Ukrainian media resistance and help to rebuild the destroyed,” the report states.
The project is intended to tell the world about the media professionals, television and radio organizations and providers, located in Bucha, Mariupol, Berdiansk, Trostianets, Kharkiv, Melitopol, Kherson, Chernihiv, Sumy and other cities, where the Ukrainian media representatives are bravely defending Ukraine’s information front.
The first story is about Bucha-based TV channel Pohliad [View] and internet service provider Best.
A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, starting a war.
