The Embassy of Ukraine in Germany has called on the Berlin police to take all measures to investigate as soon as possible an attack on Nataliia Moseichuk, a correspondent of Ukraine's 1+1 television channel, and bring the perpetrators to justice.
The embassy said this in a statement published on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"On May 9, an incident involving a Russian-speaking citizen trying to inflict bodily injuries on Nataliia Moseichuk, a correspondent of the Ukrainian TV channel 1+1, took place at the Soviet War Memorial in Treptower Park in Berlin. The television crew prepared on the spot a video about this year's commemoration of World War II victims," the statement said.
The Embassy of Ukraine in Germany is aware of this incident, and the Berlin police have been informed about the events that took place at the memorial complex.
