Swedish ambassador visits village liberated from Russian invaders
That’s according to a report by the Embassy of Sweden in Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.
"On Sweden's National Day, I visited the liberated Velyka Dymerka. We have been supporting municipalities in Ukraine since the 1990s and we are aware of the strength of communities. We are now focusing our efforts on helping them recover," the diplomat said.
As reported, a National Council has been set up in Ukraine to rebuild the country after the war, which has already been supported by a number of European leaders. Each of the EU countries will have the opportunity to rebuild a particular region.
The village of Velyka Dymerka in Brovary district, Kyiv region, was liberated on April 1.
The invaders bombed a local school and multiple households, inflicting serious damage on the settlement.
