Ukrainians raise UAH 5M in one day for rehabilitation of Mariupol's defenders - Kalush Orchestra

Ukrainians collected UAH 5 million on Independence Day for the rehabilitation of the defenders of Mariupol as part of a campaign announced by the Kalush Orchestra band.
The band announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"In just one day, we managed to collect five million hryvnias that will be used for the rehabilitation of the courageous defenders of Mariupol. Ukrainians, you are incredible! We thank everyone who donated and joined our fundraiser," the post reads.
On Independence Day, the Kalush Orchestra band announced a fundraiser for the rehabilitation of Mariupol's defenders. The musicians called on Ukrainians to donate UAH 24 each within 24 hours.
