Zelensky meets with U.S. Representative to UN
“Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield, U.S. Representative to the United Nations, met with Ukrainian President Zelensky and members of his leadership team today in Kyiv to discuss the unwavering U.S. commitment to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. She reiterated that the United States is steadfast in its support for Ukraine and is prepared to stand with Ukraine as long as it takes,” U.S. Mission to the United Nations Spokesperson Nate Evans informs.
As noted, Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield and President Zelensky discussed international efforts to minimize the impact of Russia’s aggression on global food security, including through sustaining and expanding the UN-brokered Black Sea Grain Initiative, and to ensure accountability for war crimes and atrocities perpetrated on the Ukrainian people. She committed to continuing to work at the United Nations to strengthen international support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and to urge Member States to defend international law and the Charter of the United Nations.
As reported, U.S. Representative to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield arrived in Kyiv on November 8 to reaffirm U.S. steadfast support for Ukraine.
