Kherson residents given three reasons not to rush back home
That’s according to Yuriy Sobolevskyi, First Deputy Chairman of the Kherson Regional Council, Ukrinform reports.
"I understand how bad you want to go home, as soon as possible. However, please take your time. There are three reasons for this," Sobolevskyi wrote.
He noted that work on demining the roads and municipal infrastructure facilities is still ongoing.
There are also risks of enemy shelling as the Russian forces are on the other side of the Dnipro, in close proximity to the city.
As Sobolevskyi emphasized, many problems are yet to be solved in order to restore normal life in Kherson.
As Ukrinform reported, Kherson, the regional center in southern Ukraine recently liberated from the Russian invaders, is having complex issues, yet to be addressed, with power and water supplies, as well as central heating.
