Riot brewing in occupied Mariupol - mayor's advisor
Petro Andryushchenko, the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, wrote about this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"A riot is brewing in Mariupol. Propaganda IMAGES no longer work, occupation authorities are silent, while problems are piling up. All that is missing is a catalyst," Andryushchenko said.
According to the official, the roofs of many apartment blocks across Mariupol leak. In addition, there is no central heating supply in the city.
As reported by Ukrinform, Russian occupiers were unable to properly prepare the utility system in Mariupol for the heating season. Utility services are not working in the area.
Russia's aggression caused a major humanitarian disaster in Mariupol. Almost 90% of the city has been destroyed as a result of enemy bombing and shelling.
The invaders are turning the city into a military logistics hub for the Russian army.
