Kremlin prisoners: Crimean Tatars receive UAH 100K in aid last year
That’s according to the Ministry of Reintegration press service, Ukrinform reports.
The Interdepartmental Commission under the Ministry of Reintegration made relevant decisions to support Kremlin prisoners.
In total, last year such state monetary assistance was provided to 462 citizens. They have been illegally held by the Russian Federation or occupation administrations in connection with their public, professional, or political activities.
"In order to receive the said assistance, families of persons deprived of their freedom as a result of armed aggression against Ukraine can apply to the Ministry of Reintegration," the statement reads.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, Turkey is negotiating with the Russian Federation regarding the release of a group of Ukrainian political prisoners, but it is too early to talk about specific names or terms.
