Dmytro Pavlychko to be remembered as one of authors of Ukraine’s Declaration of Sovereignty

Dmytro Pavlychko will be remembered as one of authors of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of Ukraine and a founder of the People’s Movement of Ukraine, as well as a famous poet.
The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram, following the death of Dmytro Pavlychko, a Ukrainian poet and public figure, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Dmytro Pavlychko, a Ukrainian poet, public and political figure, Hero of Ukraine, has passed away. He will be remembered as one of authors of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of Ukraine and a founder of the Ukrainian national movement. And, of course, as a famous poet. May his memory live forever,” Zelensky wrote.
A reminder that, on January 29, 2023, Dmytro Pavlychko, a famous Ukrainian poet, political and public figure, former member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, diplomat, Hero of Ukraine passed away, aged 93.
