Zelensky: House of Representatives of Belgium recognizes Holodomor as genocide

President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Belgium for recognizing the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as the genocide of the Ukrainian people.
“A historic voting in Belgian House of Representatives: one more state recognized the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as genocide of the Ukrainian people! I’m thankful to Belgium for this important decision for every Ukrainian, for this deeply symbolic step today!” Zelensky posted on Twitter.
As reported, on November 28, 2006, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the law "On the Holodomor of 1932-1933 in Ukraine", recognizing the Holodomor as the genocide of the Ukrainian people.
More than 20 countries around the world officially recognized the Holodomor as the genocide of the Ukrainian people.
