Education Ministry terminating cooperation with Parimatch Foundation

"Due to the application of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) related to Parimatch Foundation international charitable organization, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine is terminating the memorandum of cooperation," reads a report published on the ministry’s website.

It is noted that the termination of the memorandum takes effect from the date of receipt of written notice by the respective parties. The ministry sent a relevant letter to the representative office of Parimatch Foundation in Ukraine.

As reported, in August 2022, the Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science and Parimatch Foundation signed a memorandum of cooperation on improving the competences and educational activity skills, introducing new services into the educational process, improving the inclusive education system, improving the mental and physical health of children and youth, as well as promoting of the implementation of modern programs and methods.

On March 10, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky put into effect the National Security and Defense Council’s decision to impose sanctions against 120 individuals and 287 legal entities, including Parimatch.
