Government endorses concept of security at educational institutions
The Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science said this in a statement following a government’s meeting on April 7, Ukrinform reports.
"Due to the martial law, the educational process now depends on the security situation and takes place offline, online or in a blended form. The educators continue to hold their front with dignity, for which I am extremely grateful. Painstaking work is ahead to restore the emotional state of teachers and students, as well as to improve the educational process. But the most important thing is that learning process be safe, that every Ukrainian child have access to quality education, and that every teacher feel care and attention," said Education and Science Minister Oksen Lisovyi.
As noted, the implementation of the concept will make it possible to organize offline learning, which will contribute to ensuring a comfortable stay in shelters or protective structures at educational institutions, and will increase the effectiveness of measures aimed at preventing violations in the educational environment.
It is noted that the focus will also be on measures aimed at preventing manifestations of physical and psychological violence, observing the rights and norms of informational and social security of each participant in the educational process.
