Zelensky delivers Easter message to Ukrainians: We will overcome the most difficult peak ahead of us
The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Today we celebrate the Easter holiday with unshakable faith in our victory. We have already come a long way. Perhaps the most difficult of peaks is ahead. We will overcome it. And together we will meet our dawn, when the sun will rise over our entire country. This is a blue and yellow flag. It will certainly be raised in all our God-given land, in all territories temporarily occupied by devils,” Zelensky noted.
The President of Ukraine expressed confidence that “the sun will shine in the south, the sun will shine in the east, and the sun will shine in Crimea”.
“The yellow-hot sun in a peaceful blue sky, and it is the light of justice. Christ is Risen!” the Head of State concluded.
A reminder that this year Orthodox Christians are celebrating Easter on April 16.
