United24 fundraising platform collects $325M in a year – Fedorov
Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister for Innovations, Development of Education, Science and Technology - Minister of Digital Transformation, stated this on the air of the nationwide telethon, Ukrinform reports.
"The platform has already raised $325 million. It is currently the biggest fundraising platform. It is a unique case in the world, when a state fundraising platform attracts so much funds and attention from the whole world," Fedorov said, adding that Ukraine is supported by people from 110 countries around the world.
He reminded that famous British businessman Richard Branson recently became an ambassador of United24, who has supported the platform and will collect funds for the project to rebuild Ukraine. Among other ambassadors are Imagine Dragons, Barbara Streisand, "Star Wars" heroes, Scott Kelly and others.
As Ukrinform reported, the United24 fundraising platform is a so-called “single window” for donations from charitable organizations, international partners and citizens to support Ukraine.
