Invaders in the temporarily occupied Crimea conceal information about the health status of unlawfully convicted citizen journalist, medical professional Iryna Danylovych.

As the Crimean Solidarity association reports, the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Russian Federation sent Olga Mazurova, a doctor and public figure from Moscow, a document containing a refusal to name Danylovych’s diagnosis.

This document states that Danylovych is under supervision in medical unit No. 91.

"More detailed information about the provision of medical assistance to her, her health status and the diagnosis are not subject to disclosure," the document of the federal service states.

At the same time, according to Bronislav Danylovych, the father of the political prisoner, during the last meeting, Iryna Danylovych allowed to talk openly about her diagnosis.

"Actually, no one has fully examined her. I know one thing: my daughter will soon get a disability. If earlier it was enough for her to read a line once to catch the meaning, now she has to do it five times. If she turns her head sharply, she suffers terrible pain. And it's been like this for the seventh month," Bronislav Danylovych noted.

He added that he was denied meeting with his daughter.

As reported, Iryna Danylovych was not given proper medical care in the Simferopol pre-trial detention center after she ended her hunger strike.

On December 28, 2022, the occupiers in Crimea unlawfully sentenced Danylovych to seven years in prison and a fine of RUB 50,000 for alleged possession of an explosive device.
