Ukraine, Lithuania to cooperate on digitization of cultural heritage

"The Ukrainian side expressed its sincere gratitude to Lithuania and its citizens for their support on the cultural front, as such support is expressed not only in words, but also in certain actions," the report says.
As noted, Deputy Minister Taras Shevchenko welcomed Lithuania’s additional restrictions and bans on the broadcasting of Russian channels. He emphasized the need to continue this process and apply greater sanctions and large-scale restrictions on Russian TV companies and media.
Shevchenko also emphasized the need to unite forces and continue coordination in promoting the "Information Ramstein" initiative in the field of information security, including sanctions policy.
In her turn, Deputy Minister Anastasia Bondar spoke about the situation in the cultural sphere, the main challenges of which remain the digitization of immovable cultural heritage, museum exhibits and intangible cultural heritage of Ukraine.
The Lithuanian side confirmed its full support in this struggle for identity and expressed readiness for further cooperation.
As reported, Minister of Culture and Information Policy Oleksandr Tkachenko and Minister of Culture and Sports of Spain Miquel Iceta Llorens discussed cooperation in restoring the Ukrainian cultural heritage.
