Students in Crimea forced to sign draft notices in exchange for passing exams

Students of universities in the temporarily occupied Crimea are forced to sign draft notices to be called up to the Russian army in exchange for passing exams.
"According to available information, staff of a university in occupied Simferopol told one of the students that he would be able to pass the exams only after signing a draft notice. The boy had to agree because of pressure," CrimeaSOS human rights organization reports.
As noted, other students of draft age received similar "offers".
Such conversations in Crimea are held privately so that the situation does not gain publicity.
As reported, Head of the Crimean Human Rights Group Olha Skrypnyk said that at least 40,000 Crimeans had been drafted into the Russian army during the years of occupation.
