Users of the Air Alert mobile application have raised UAH 10 million for drones for Ukrainian defenders.

That's according to the Ministry of Digital Transformation on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"Users of the Air Alert mobile application transformed their anger into helping the Ukrainian Defense Forces. To reduce the number of attacks, Ukrainians have donated UAH 10 million to destroy the occupiers," the statement said.

Part of the funds will be used to raise funds for United24 ambassador Mark Hamill, the actor who played Luke Skywalker in Star Wars. RQ-35 Heidrun drones will be purchased, which allow Ukrainian defenders to conduct aerial reconnaissance.
