Another ten ambulances purchased by volunteers were sent to front line from Lviv
Maksym Kozytskyi, the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
According to Kozytskyi, the vehicles were sent to the defenders in the Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk directions. "They will serve in the second stage of evacuation - delivering the wounded to stabilization centers. At the request of the brigades, the ambulances have different equipment," noted the head of the RMA.
The ambulances were purchased by the SoftServe charitable foundation Open Eyes as part of the Drive for Life: +100 Ambulances project. SoftServe has donated $1.2 million to purchase a hundred ambulances on the occasion of its 30th anniversary. To provide the vehicles with everything they need, another $600,000 was announced to raise funds. The first of the one hundred ambulances are already deployed at the front line.
"This is an extremely important project, because more than 120 vehicles that the foundation has previously transferred to the front have already helped save more than 5,000 lives!" said the head of the RMA.
As reported, a batch of quadcopters, kamikaze drones, anti-drone guns, and training unmanned aerial vehicles was sent to the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the Lviv region as part of the 'Birds of Victory' initiative.
