Türkiye’s FM Fidan meets with Crimean Tatar leaders in Ukraine

Turkish Foreign Affairs Minister Hakan Fidan met with the leaders of the Crimean Tatar people during his first official visit to Ukraine.
The relevant statement was made by Türkiye’s Foreign Affairs Ministry on the social media platform X, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“We support all the initiatives regarding the strengthening of the rights and status of the Crimean Tatars,” Fidan said in the course of the meeting.
Türkiye’s Foreign Affairs Ministry posted the photographs, showing a meeting between the Turkish minister and Mustafa Dzhemilev, the leader of the Crimean Tatar people.
A reminder that earlier Turkish Foreign Affairs Minister Hakan Fidan held meetings with the President and Prime Minister of Ukraine, as well as the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
