Pope urges world not to get used to any war

He said this on social network X (formerly Twitter), Ukrinform reported.

“We must not become accustomed to war, to any war. We must not allow our hearts and minds to be anaesthetized at the reptition of these extremely serious horrors against God and humankind”, Pope Francis said.

As reported, during Sunday's prayer and blessing, Pope Francis said that war is always a defeat and it must stop, referring to HAMAS' attack on Israel and all other wars.

“War, any war that there is in the world – I also think of tormented Ukraine – is a defeat. War is always a defeat; it is a destruction of human fraternity”, he emphasized.
