Forever-Forever seals win at Cottbus Film Festival
The State Film Agency of Ukraine reported the news on Facebook, congratulating the production team on their victory, Ukrinform reports.
As the State Film Agency noted, Forever-Forever is a story of survival and love, shame and carelessness, freedom and dependence on one's body.
"It's about desperation, tenderness, pain, pleasure, finding yourself, and the right decisions. And this is a film about the youth of those who are now over 30, those who have become the most passionate and dedicated freedom fighters," the agency added.
Forever-Forever is Anna Buriachkova's feature debut. The story unfolds in Kyiv in late 1990s. The movie stars Alina Cheban, Zakhar Shadrin, Artur Aliyev, Yelizaveta Tsilyk, and Daria Zhykharska.
The film premiered at the 80th Mostra internazionale d'arte cinematographica Film Festival in Venice.
