MP David Arakhamia, the head of the Servant of the People faction, has announced the appearance of a new document in Ukraine - a certificate of conscript.
The lawmaker announced this during a panel discussion "The Year 2024: Scenarios for the Country" organized by LB.ua and EFI Group as part of the "New Country" project, LB.ua reports.
Arakhamia said that at first, it was planned that every person of conscript age should have a conscript certificate, but then the decision was made to do it only for people of mobilization age (27-60 years).
"This must be done so that we as a state understand what mobilization resources we have," he said.
Arakhamia expressed hope that the new model would be in place in four months.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said earlier that he currently did not see the need to mobilize 500,000 people.
