Water level drops in occupied Crimea’s rivers

This was reported by the Holos Krymu (Voice of Crimea) outlet, Ukrinform saw.

According to Russian environmental monitors, last month’s precipitation failed to fill the local rivers.

The largest amount of rain was recorded in the basin of the Kokkozka River near the village of Aromat (41mm, which is the norm). As for the rest of the peninsula's rivers, they only saw some 10 to 50% of the normal precipitation (5.1-26 mm).

Meteorologists also emphasized that Crimea’s mountains also suffer from little precipitation with only 17% of the norm reported.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, uncontrolled mineral extraction is increasing in temporarily occupied Crimea.
