Hundreds of specialists involved in Farion's murder investigation - Interior Ministry

This was stated by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Mariana Reva, in a comment to Ukrinform.

"As of now, active work is underway to solve the crime. Hundreds of specialists are involved in these activities. Regarding the versions of the motive for the murder, the main ones are personal enmity, the public activities of the deceased, and the involvement of the enemy to destabilise the internal situation in the country is also being considered," Reva said.

According to her, criminal analysis specialists are, in particular, studying the video of Farion's alleged murder, which was previously distributed by Russian Telegram channels. "We will inform you when we have the final conclusion," the spokeswoman said.

As reported, on the evening of 19 July, an unknown person shot at Iryna Farion in Lviv. She died in hospital as a result of her injuries.

Investigators are convinced that Farion was shot on 19 July by the man wanted by the police. Law enforcement officers have several witnesses, including those who saw the murder take place.
