Yacht, restaurant car, dozens of houses and land plots: how much property was seized from Medvedchuk
This was stated by the spokesperson for the Prosecutor General's Office, Nadiya Maksymets, during the United News telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
She recalled that the yacht is currently under indefinite arrest as a result of EU sanctions. According to her, the yacht is physically located in Croatia and cannot leave these waters due to the sanctions.
"This is just one of the items of property that has been seized and belongs to the suspect. The same yacht has been seized in two criminal proceedings as part of national investigations, and in addition, the suspect's property has also been seized in other criminal proceedings, and these are significant assets. These are more than 30 plots of land, 23 houses, more than 30 apartments, a huge collection of paintings, and a unique railway carriage-restaurant," Maksymets said.
As reported, the National Agency for Asset Recovery and Management (ARMA) sold Viktor Medvedchuk's buggy and ATV at auction for a total of UAH 921,800.
