U.S. Senate delegation meets with Ukrainian patrol police officers

The National Police shared details of the visit on its website, Ukrinform reports.

During the meeting, Deputy Head of the National Police Hennadii Fedoriuk and First Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department Oleksii Biloshytskyi expressed gratitude for the modern equipment and gear provided by the U.S. government. These tools are critical for both official and combat missions.

The delegation was shown equipment and weapons supplied by the U.S., which support National Police efforts in maintaining security and protecting Ukraine's territorial integrity.

"The honored guests were briefed on the activities of patrol police, the explosives service, and other units of the National Police under martial law, particularly about the participation of police officers in the war and the liberation of occupied territories, in the demining of de-occupied regions, and patrols in frontline areas," the report said.
