Minister Zhdanov promises favorable conditions for national ice hockey team

The minister said this on Tuesday, April 26, at a meeting with the national ice hockey team that won the 2016 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship Division I Group B, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The Youth and Sports Ministry will do everything it can to create the most favorable conditions for the training of Ukraine’s national team, the revival of the glory of Ukrainian ice hockey,” the minister said and added that UAH 2.97 million was allocated for the training of the national ice hockey team in 2015-2016.

In addition, Zhdanov thanked players and the coaching staff for the spectacular victory at the 2016 IIHF World Championship.
