"This is a good chance to unite all the belts and become the world's absolute champion," Usyk said, explaining his decision to take part in the tournament.

According to the athlete, it's quite hard to agree on the unification of belts, because every promoter "clings to his champion" and does not agree to unite the belts. "But this tournament will show one real champion in all versions. In addition, he will have the Muhammad Ali Trophy," Usyk said.

While assessing his opponent, the boxer said that the difference in age was not significant, and the fact that Huck is more experienced and had more fights in his career "does not say anything." Usyk treats the German as just another opponent.

"I treat every opponent with respect. But I'm not going to overestimate these guys, because I know what I'm worth!" he said.

The bout between Usyk and Huck will take place at the Max-Schmeling-Halle in Berlin on September 9. It will be the opening of the World Boxing Super Series.
