Ukraine beats Spain in FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 European Qualifiers

The men's basketball national team of Ukraine beat Spain 76:65 in FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 European Qualifiers on Friday evening.
"The fact that I scored some important points is the work of the whole team. The Spanish team was not ready for our aggressive defensive and in attacking strategies. The victory over Spain is a historic moment for Ukraine,” Ukrainian playmaker Denys Lukashov said in a commentary to the Basketball Federation of Ukraine.
In the second round of 2019 FIBA World Cup qualifiers, Ukraine plays with teams of Spain, Slovenia, Turkey, Latvia and Montenegro.
On September 17, 2018, Ukraine will have an away game with Montenegro, on November 29 with Slovenia in Ukraine, on December 2 an away game with Spain, on February 22, 2019 at home with Montenegro and on February 25 an away game with Slovenia.
