Yastremska climbs to 32nd place in WTA rating for first time

Ukrainian tennis player Dayana Yastremska, who won a WTA tournament in the French city of Strasbourg last week, has climbed ten positions in the latest WTA ranking to take 32nd place for the first time in her career, Ukrinform reports.

Ukraine's first and second seeded tennis players Elina Svitolina and Lesia Tsurenko remained in 9th and 27th positions, respectively. Kateryna Kozlova dropped from 66th to 67th spot.

Japan's Naomi Osaka continues to top the WTA rating. Czech Karolina Pliskova is second, and Romanian Simona Halep is third.
